National Astronomy Day Celebration

May 18, 1 PM – 4 PM

Afternoon of astronomy at the planetarium. In addition to a special $5/person admission to our *public shows (members get in FREE), representatives from the Louisville Astronomical Society will be on hand with solar telescopes and other activities. Everyone gets to enter a drawing for great prizes that includes a Celestron AstroMaster 70AZ telescope (valued at $149.95), a year subscription to Astronomy Magazine, a family membership to the planetarium and much more!

Stay for the FREE public presentation on Meteorites: Messengers From Space and the unveiling of the spectacular meteorite collection donated by William and Mary Ann Russell (4 PM – 5 PM).
